Without load distribution the chamber can, with a 50 cm sand cover, withstand a short-term load of 3000 kg (6000 kg/m²) - e.g. a tractor crossing.
 
The chamber lid can withstand a continuous load of up to 500 kg (1000 kg/m²), e.g. a parked car. Uponor connecting chambers are designed for pipe joints that cannot be made with an Uponor insulation kit.
